Enjoy A Location Close to Attractions, But Far from The Crowds
Formerly the Henry Walker Hand House, built in 1893, the Inn at the Park is one of Cape May’s most historically significant structures. What’s more, it is a two-time winner of the Southern Jersey Beautification Award.
The bed and breakfast is nestled in a quiet – but convenient – neighborhood. Cape May’s Washington Street Mall with unique shopping and dining is just four blocks away, and the famous Cape May Beaches are only a ten-minute walk. The Emlen Physick Estate, the area’s Queen Anne Victorian showplace, museum and cultural center, is but five houses down. The Inn is also adjacent to the Kiwanis Park on Madison Avenue, which has a pond, playground, barbequing facilities and top-notch tennis facilities with 16 public courts.
Guests of the Inn at the Park will receive the VIP treatment at several of our family-owned retail specialty foods stores: The Cape May Olive Oil Company, Cape May Peanut Butter Company, Smithville Peanut Butter Company and Spice Cellar.
What does VIP treatment mean? Once you identify yourself as an Inn at the Park guest to one of our store’s team members, they will extend to you a VIP discount on all of your purchases. We will also deliver your purchases to your room.
